Annual Meeting 2007
The 2007 Annual Meeting was held October 17th at the Lincoln Center. President Tim Siebert gave the annual report and all board members with expired terms were reelected.
The Pine and Iron Award was presented to Fred Haase. Mr. Haase has contributed 100's of hours of work on the Bancroft Depot, Pierce Building, and is currently working on the Post Office. As Pres. Siebert stated: "Fred is a wizard with a hammer and saw".

The historic presentation was given by Wendell Nelson. Mr. Nelson has published several books on the architecture of Portage County. His topic this evening was "The Harlot's House".
Mr. Nelson has been collecting information on the "sporting" houses of Stevens Point for about 35 years. Considering about 110 people attended this presentation a certain amount of interest continues in this topic! Mr. Nelson will be publishing a book on this topic in the future.
