Tigerton Historical Society
Located on the corners of Swanke and Chestnut Streets (across the street from St. Anthony's Catholic Church). Society President, Russell Kostrzak, has received many awards from the Wisconsin Historical Society for his work. The address: P O Box 191, Tigerton, Wi, 54486, phone (715) 535-2140.
The Society's main Museum (below with Bandstand at right.) is the former St Anthony's Catholic Church's community building. Inside are several displays depicting a typical school room, parlor and more. Open June-Sept., third Sunday of the month; Memorial Day Sunday, and July 4th weekend Sunday. Also open Lumberjack Days, Sat & Sun, 1-5pm; for special town events; and by request for civic and cultural groups.
