Heritage Park Research Center
The Society's ever growing collection was housed at the University of Wisconsin -- Stevens Point's Nelis R. Kampenga University Archives & Area Research Center located on the 5th floor of the University Library. But, as our collections grew the Archive Center began to run out of space! To address this problem the Heritage Park Center was established.
Housed at the Center are collections of:
- Books -- Native American Collection, Jewish Religion Collection, Wisconsin Blue Books,
Wisconsin History Collection, UWSP Iris Collection, Stevens Point High School Year Books, and more.
- Video Collections -- Military History Collection, London Landscape TV,
- Audio Collections-- Collection of audio interviews, Old Time Radio, Music.
- Railroad History Items
- Circus History Items -- Portage County was home to several circus acts. The Engford Family being the most famous and longest running act. (See also our Circus History section in the Malcolm Rosholt Online Archives.)
