The Mass Guitar Incident
Sunday, June 21 at 1:00 PM
Have a guitar collecting dust in the closet? Know a few chords but haven't played in years? Or maybe you're an experienced musician looking for a unique community music experience?
Join Portage County Historical Society Executive Director and local musician John Harry for The Mass Guitar Incident, a community guitar jam during Heritage Days. Guitar players of all ages and abilities are invited to gather and perform a handful of easy, well-known songs together.
No matter your skill level, you'll be part of something special as dozens of guitarists fill Heritage Park with music. Practice the songs ahead of time using the chord charts below, then bring your guitar and join us at 1:00 PM on Sunday, June 21.
