The Society currently operates four museums. The three buildings and Heritage Park present a view of Portage County as it was dating back to 1851. Pdf brochures are available for downloading.

Beth Israel Synagogue
1475 Water St. Stevens Point Wi Open from Memorial Day thru Labor Day each Saturday and Sunday from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM. (Check our Calendar for all dates and times.) | Rising Star Mill
Located in Nelsonville Wi, the Mill hosts several music concerts each year. The biggest event is the Annual Open House Art Show held in July on the same weekend as the Iola Old Car Show. All profits generated are applied to the restoration and maintenance of the Rising Star Mill. The Mill is available to rent for meetings and other activities. |

Heritage Park
Located on the corner of Willow and Washington Street in Plover (next to RR tracks and east of Bus. Hwy 51) This park is open from Memorial Day thru Labor Day each Saturday and Sunday from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM. (Check our Calendar for all dates and times.) Special tours can be arranged by calling 715-344-4423 or emailing us. Currently, 9 buildings (oldest ca 1851) and a caboose depict life in Portage County. The Church Museum also houses an historic display. |

Historic Fire House No.2 1949 Strongs Ave Stevens Point Wi This is the oldest surviving municipal building in Stevens Point. The Society acquired this building in April 2006. This building will house our large collection of fire fighting equipment. |
